India’s general elections which began in early April will continue till 19th May. Some 900 million Indians are eligible to vote in India but 280 million opted not to vote in the last general election. This shows Indian voters take their right to vote for granted and in the process miss their chance tochoose a candidate who can address real issues they face.
The insight of the campaign is that, as human beings, we all have a tendency to hide real issues behind façade and on the front show a beautiful picture of an ideal state we wish to create.
