What is the current market trend in scaffoldings and formworks?

As structures grow taller and floor plates bigger, end-users are looking for formwork systems that are cost-effective, light, reusable, safe, easy to use & de-shutter, and durable & flexible. There are very few companies in India that are able to cater to all the above demands by providing a totally integrated formwork design system for a specified project with fully engineered and compatible components. Earlier, ply faced formwork found vast applications in most of the formwork usage areas, but due to the challenges stated above, users are looking forward to new systems which are far superior to ply faced formwork especially in terms of reducing cycle time, cost effectiveness, reusability and other factors. In the current scenario, non-ply faced formwork systems like aluminium formwork, steel formwork, plastic formwork and fibre formwork are gaining popularity, aluminium formwork leads the race as it is a cut above on all parameters that  users need to move forward effectively in these days where high rises are a common solution to development in the fast moving urban world.

What are the recent developments from the company in the scaffolding/formwork products and solutions?

BSL Group, a pioneer in scaffolding and the first Indian manufacturer to introduce steel scaffolding in India, ventured into the arena of aluminium formwork in early 2015 and is now a distinguished solution provider in the formwork space, specialising in aluminium formwork. We had upgraded our manufacturing unit at Haridwar to cater to the formwork needs of our customers. We believe not only in supply of formwork materials but to be a complete solution provider, to assist our clients from concept to commissioning.

How safety and quality play an important role in your product range? What are the key safety features?

BSL has been catering to India's scaffolding needs for more than two decades. We at BSL are total solution providers for our customer's scaffolding needs. We provide solution right from concept, design, planning upto execution stage. We have our experienced design team, state-of-the-art manufacturing bases and competent site supervision experts. We have designed, manufactured and supplied scaffolding to various residential, commercial and infrastructural projects and also have a proven track record in boiler scaffolding, most of the power plants in our nation boast of using BSL.

We have set up our in-house rolling mills at our manufacturing facility scaffolds with proper raw materials to ensure good quality and durability of our finished products and ensure uninterrupted supply of tubes. We have our own proprietary software for scaffolding design. Our design capabilities have helped us to successfully access most complex boilers and structures. We encourage our customers to execute third-party checks and inspection to ensure them of our adherence to quality standards. We have our scaffolding experts supervising erection sites to ensure all safety norms and guidelines are put  in practice.
