HAIQU, an engineered quartz surfaces brand has unveiled the world's largest seamless quartz slabs in Mumbai, India. Quartz is one of the hardest materials on the planet. Engineered Quartz surfaces use a scientifically calibrated mix of natural substances like quartz grains with resin to create a non-porous, super-strong material that can be developed in different colors, patterns, textures, and finishes.

With a unique studio-led approach of manufacturing, Haiqu is creating fashion-inspired collections of Quartz Surfaces and the idea of Haiqu as a fashion brand for architectural material was conceived and brought to life by its two young co-founders, Siddhant Lunawath (23) and Saumya Gattani (21). Both the founders spotted a gap in the architectural surfaces market and decided to explore the opportunity of creating a global brand that focuses on collaboration between the best in design and the finest technology.

“Quartz is a new-age product that is stronger, more hygienic, and more eco-friendly than natural stones like marble & granite. Quartz has now become the most popular choice worldwide for modern kitchens and bath spaces in both residential & commercial projects. Engineered Quartz surfaces use a scientifically calibrated mix of natural substances like quartz grains with resin to create a non-porous, super-strong material that can be developed in different colors, patterns, textures, and finishes”, said  Saumya Gattani, Co-Founder, HAIQU

While other Quartz brands create smaller slabs & tiles in basic colors, Haiqu has added design, colorful patterns, and has even matched natural Italian marble and granite to create a much-differentiated product offering.

“It will also be collaborating with a prominent designer to release a signature collection in early 2020”, further she added.

“Being non-porous, engineered quartz is the perfect choice for kitchens and wet areas as it eliminates any chance of staining or bacterial growth. Its extreme hardness makes it scratch-resistant, unlike marble & granite that is very prone to scratches, blemishes and stains, said  Siddhant Lunawath, Co-founder, HAIQU.

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]We have two production lines with a production capacity of 5 million sqft. The total production capacity will be 7.5 million sq. ft. Out of which we are targeting 4 million for the Indian market. We will gradually add more production lines looking to the demand”, further he added.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
