CIDCO celebrates foundation day
CIDCO’s 55th Foundation Day event was organized at CIDCO Bhavan on 17 March 2025. Speaking on the occasion, Vijay Singhal, VC & MD, CIDCO, extended his best wishes to the employees and officials for CIDCO’s Foundation Day.

Speaking on the occasion, Vijay Singhal, VC & MD, CIDCO, extended his best wishes to the employees and officials for CIDCO’s Foundation Day. “CIDCO’s performance in urban planning and development shines on a global scale and the credit for this undoubtedly goes to the all former and current employees and officials of the corporation,” he added.
While expressing his thoughts, Singhal reviewed CIDCO’s mega projects including Navi Mumbai International Airport, NAINA city, Mass Housing Scheme and other significant projects. He opined that these projects would boost the economic development of the state along with Navi Mumbai. He also informed that the commercial operations at Navi Mumbai International Airport will be commenced soon.
He also said that for the first time CIDCO participated in World Economic Forum, Davos of this year and has launched the projects of International Educity and Entertainment Arena in Navi Mumbai by signing the MoUs. These projects are the first of their kind in the country. Singhal also informed that the process of tender for the work of Kondhane Dam, which is planned to meet the growing water demand of Navi Mumbai and NAINA, is in final stage.
Singhal also mentioned that CIDCO has established a strong international reputation and it is a matter of proud for the employees to be a part of CIDCO.
