Coal Ministry invites applications for coal/lignite gasification projects
The Ministry of Coal has invited applications from government PSUs/JV of PSUs to set up coal/lignite gasification projects in India. The total budget for the project is Rs 4,050 crore. According to the Coal Ministry’s announcement, the incentive set for the project is Rs 1,350 crore or 15 percent of Capex, whichever is lower, per project. Weightage is being given for plant capacity, financial assistance sought and sustainability towards adoption of CCUS technology.
The last date for bid submission is November 11, 2024.
