Cooper Corporation announces expansion of manufacturing operations in Satara
Cooper Corporation has announced the expansion of its manufacturing capabilities with the inauguration of two state-of-the-art units in Satara.
The first expansion, located at K10 - MIDC Satara, focuses on enhancing Cooper Corporation's foundry capabilities. This cutting-edge facility is equipped with modern, pollution-free, and fully automated systems, underlining Cooper Corporation’s commitment to producing high-quality parts. Boasting a substantial built-up area of 52,186 sq ft, the facility has a remarkable monthly production capacity of 3,500 tons. This expansion positions Cooper Corporation as a preferred choice for both domestic and international Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) seeking top-notch components.
The second unit, situated at E1 - MIDC Satara, is dedicated to aluminium high-pressure die casting. Cooper Corporation has invested in advanced technology, including a Fanuc Robodrill setup with CNC, VMC, and HMCs, ensuring precision and efficiency in our manufacturing processes. The facility also features essential quality assurance facilities such as auto gauging, Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), and a powder coating setup. Spanning an area of 12,000 sq ft, this unit will contribute an additional 500 tons per month to the overall production capacity.
Both facilities combined will employ over 250 skilled personnel, further contributing to the growth of the local economy and job market.
