Jupiter Wagons bags Ministry of Railways contract for BOSM wagons
Jupiter Wagons, a provider of comprehensive mobility solutions encompassing rail, road and marine transportation announced the acquisition of a Rs 957 crores contract from the Ministry of Railways (Railway Board) for the manufacturing and supply of BOSM wagons.
The Ministry of Railways, in its letter dated March 6, has awarded Jupiter Wagons the manufacturing and supply contract for 2,237 units of BOSM wagons. These wagons are specifically designed for the efficient transport of bulk goods such as coal and ore within the Indian railway network. This initiative is poised to catalyse smoother trade and foster economic growth.
The contract, valued at a staggering Rs 957 crores, further strengthens Jupiter Wagons' position in the market and highlights its capabilities in catering to large-scale projects.
