How is the company evolving in the oil & lubricants market?
Tide Water Oil Co. (India) Ltd., owner of the brand Veedol, is a leading manufacturer and marketer of quality engine oil and lubricants. It has been catering to both the automotive and industrial segments since 1928. Veedol is one of the most respected brands in Indian as well as overseas markets in the field of finished lubricants both for automotive as well as for industrial applications.
What are your key products and solutions catering to the construction and mining industry?
We as a complete lubricating solution providing company, offer a vast range of products comprising high performance and speciality lubricants and greases to meet the harsh working conditions prevalent in the Infrastructure and mining industry.
This includes our Veedol Atransol Series of very high VI hydraulic oil, best-in-class Maratron LSP CK4 10W40/15W40 engine oil meeting BS-VI or TREM-V requirements, high performance transmission oil like TRANSDEX-III meeting DEXRON-III, fully synthetic gear oils i.e. Apreslube Synth Series and Calcium Sulphonate Complex Grease for very high drainage interval.
We also offer a wide range of DIY - aerosol based maintenance products like Veedol Gunk and Liquid wrench products like rust inhibitors and degreasers which help in smoothening on site workshop practice. Due to our strong R&D, we can offer Bespoke product solution to replace various imported specialty lubricants to help in Make in India Initiative.
Veedol has also launched a premium and value-added range of industrial penetrants and degreasers in association with world famous USA-based brand Blasters in India which will change the shape of solution-oriented and value-added product offerings and make the life for our industrial customers much more easier with a lot of time and cost savings for such difficult applications.
All our product offerings are coupled with value added services like an on-site product testing facility, product training on usage and storage, lube audit etc. so that our customers get a complete peace of mind.
How are you gearing up to the needs of EVs for cooling and lubricant solutions?
We believe the major intervention of EV may take place in automotive industry majorly with two wheelers, passenger vehicles and intra city transport buses. Veedol is fully geared up with a full range of technologically advanced EV fluid range including transmission oils and specialised coolants.
What are the major innovations in your range of oils and lubricants from a green perspective?

Central to our green strategy is the adoption of re-refined base oils, enhancing the lifecycle of resources while supporting the circular economy. We champion a low viscosity range, designed to boost fuel economy and decrease carbon emissions, aligning operational excellence with ecological benefits. Our portfolio includes eco-friendly, metal-free products such as zinc-free hydraulic oils and EHS-compliant metalworking fluids, showcasing our commitment to environmental safety.
