ONDUSOLAR® solar roof tiles to enter Indian market

The much-awaited solar roof tiles ONDUSOLAR® from ONDULINE® is all set to enter the Indian market. Solar roof tiles, also known as photovoltaic (PV) roof tiles, are innovative solar energy solutions that blend seamlessly into the design of the roof. Unlike traditional solar panels, which are bulky and mounted on top of the roof, solar roof tiles are designed to replace conventional roof tiles and integrate solar cells directly into the structure.

ONDUSOLAR® photovoltaic integrated roofing tiles are designed by French patent. It features the aesthetic elements of flat ceramic tile and pushes into high-efficiency photovoltaic power generation module. The tiles are lightweight, about 15 kg per square meter, which is only half of the traditional cement tile and ceramic tile.

The ONDUSOLAR® photovoltaic power generation tile can efficiently absorb solar energy in the daytime and convert it into electric energy, which can effectively reduce the radiant heat of the roof, thus improving the indoor environment and reducing the building energy consumption. ONDUSOLAR® comes with matching accessories and flat tiles to provide a seamless aesthetic appearance to the roof. ONDUSOLAR® is designed for ease of installation.
