Affordability and Sustainability will be the two key future needs in the Indian construction market. How is Design & Construct bringing in affordability and Sustainability in its projects?

Design & Construct believes in bringing in maximum client satisfaction by offering them a minimal budget and the maximum output. We have already brought in affordability and sustainability by using high-quality materials, prioritizing safety measures, and properly monitoring the construction sites, thereby preventing accidents and saving the costs of reworks and repairs. Secondly, we also utilize the maximum number of resources during construction by recycling and reusing products and making them an efficient source to be incorporated during construction.

What are your major services in construction, design, and interiors?

The construction itself is a broad industry that includes building bridges, apartments, commercial complexes, residential buildings, and many more. We specifically deal with building individual residential houses like villas, bungalows, penthouses, farmhouses, etc.; if not, we also do floor addition up to G+5 and renovation. As we aim to grow, we prioritize our customers by building them what they want. Everything is managed from planning to handling over by our in-house architects, site engineers, project engineers, and project coordinators. The client gets full authority with us and can alter the plan and design if needed.

What are your key technologies promoting the concept of Green Buildings?

The key technologies used for promoting the concept of green buildings are: Life cycle assessment, Siting and structure design efficiency, Energy efficiency, Water efficiency, Material efficiency, Indoor environment quality enhancement, Operation and maintenance optimization, and Waste reduction.

How do you visualize the outlook of the Indian construction market from a sustainability perspective?

The construction industry is undergoing a period of radical change. In future, the construction industry will address the critical challenges of climate change, reshape the city's outlook, and manage the shortage of energy supply. With sustainable designs and technology, the construction market will also help to enhance the safety measures within construction industry.
