What are some of the innovative products that Valvoline Cummins showcased at EXCON 2022?

The EXCON is South Asia's largest construction equipment event, and it was an opportunity for us to showcase our rich legacy and showcase some of our industry leading products. Some of the products that we showcased at EXCON were:

Zerex anti-freeze & coolants: With hardware technology changing and becoming sophisticated, there is a need of high-quality coolant that protects the costly equipment and sustained performance. Valvoline has complete range of radiator coolants that are designed to address specific OEM needs. One of the products was displayed at Excon, which is a very versatile coolant made with most modern technology, addresses both light duty and heavy duty application, meets specification of most OEMs and is capable of offering up to  10 lakh km or 10,000 hrs of service life.

Power Select Ultra: This engine oil is designed on High-way BS-VI and off-highway CEV BSIV equipment that are fitted with DPF. The product has been extensively field-tested in Indian operating condition and has demonstrated excellent performance.

AIR Shield DEF (AUS 32): Most BS-IV equipment that are fitted with SCR and BS-VI equipment will need diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) or aqueous urea solution (AUS-32). The product helps in reducing NOx which contributes to emission.

Valvoline Premium Blue range of engine oil has been jointly developed with Cummins and is 'The Only One' endorsed and recommended by Cummins to be used in its engines. It is also the factory fill lubricant for Cummins engines and is extensively tested on Cummins engines to meet stringent quality controls.

Valvoline Premium Blue is 'The Only One' to be endorsed by Cummins for use in its engines. What are the key advantages of the product?

The Premium Blue range is a result of our long-standing association with Cummins where in Valvoline works very closely with Cummins to design engine oil, test is through series of aggressive endurance and performance testing and then filed tested and validated in local conditions. The performance during the entire testing process gives Cummins a confidence to endorse it as 'The Only One' and a strong recommendation to use in its engines.

The product design is around longer drain, wear protection, consistent performance that helps customer by enhanced equipment durability, and thus, reduced TCO.

What opportunities do you look forward in India's infrastructure growth plans in future?

Infrastructure, construction and mining deploy many types of equipment that use lubricants and other fluids. The growth in this sector will open more opportunities for lubricants as well. We will participate in this growth opportunity by offering complete solutions, including lubricants, radiator coolants, efficient logistics, and technical support systems - especially to remote sites. We have successfully addressed this segment in the past and are confident of replicating the same.
