How do you view the demand trend for construction equipment in the current infrastructure market scenario?
With the Indian economy on the brink of reaching $5 trillion economy, India’s construction and material handling equipment demand is increasing geometrically. Additionally, influx of huge funds in infrastructure in continuity by government & private sector in India, demand for construction equipment will surely see an increase in future. With sustainability at the forefront of today’s industrial growth, our range of electric construction, mining and material handling equipment will have a growing demand going ahead.
Can you brief us on SOCMA and its activities in the construction equipment market?
Fujian South China Machinery Company Limited (SOCMA) was found in 2010, and is dedicated to the research and development of electric material handling equipment and construction machinery.
SOCMA manufactures an unmatched range of high-performance electric construction, material handling and port equipment, offering lithium-iron phosphate battery operated wheel loader (1T to 9T), excavator (8T to 36T), forklift (1T to 45T), warehousing equipment (reach truck, articulated forklift, BOPT etc), tele-handlers, reach stacker, empty container handler and some other special equipment. SOCMA is certified with ISO 9001, CE, IQNet, CQC and others. We at Juggernaut Equipment Pvt Ltd are committed to provide services for Sales & Aftersales of these machines across India.
Sustainability plays an important role in the current infrastructure market scenario. How is your partnership with SOCMA bringing in new revolution in this regard?
As mentioned above, we are the first-of-its-kind company in India offering such an extensive range of electric machines. SUSTAINABILITY has become one of the core focus points of our customers and our business. With the demand of equipment growing, we endeavour to extend cost-effective solution and sustainable alternative to our traditional IC engines equipment. We intend to revolutionise the market by offering an electric equipment across major applications in construction, mining, port and material handling applications without compromising on performance.
What are your market expansion plans and vision on consolidating presence in India?
By the end of this financial year, we plan to have offices in all four metros, with our own team for sales, service and spares, followed by pan-India presence gradually. Our process of recruitment has already started for all four major regions. We shall operate across India with our own team. We also plan to manufacture the machines in financial year 2025-26. We are very hopeful to develop our channel to meet all growing demands of our customers across the country.
