How do you access the impact of the Covid pandemic on the logistics snd warehousing sectors?
The pandemic has forced businesses in the logistics sector to adopt technology, especially for delivering parcels and goods. All over the globe, restrictions have been in place but new-age tech platforms can now give businesses visibility and tracking capabilities and this is a major disruption accelerated by the pandemic. Logistics organizations have had to fast track digital transformation to cater to the needs of the present.
How important is adoption of technology in this segment and to what extent has it been adopted?
The logistics sector has been slow to adopting technology but the last decade has seen a change. Around 2015 is when the intersection of cloud, mobility and mapping gave a major push for SaaS platforms and since then, the change has been percolating. North America is a front runner when it comes to adoption but the APAC and MENA regions are also quickly catching up.
