BEML Signs MoU with CSIR-NAL
State-run heavy equipment manufacturer BEML has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR)-National Aeronautics Laboratory (NAL) to collaborate in the areas of advance composite and autoclaves, mini unmanned aerial vehicles, design and analysis of aircraft structure and systems. State-run heavy equipment manufacturer BEML has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR)-National Aeronautics Laboratory (NAL) to collaborate in the areas of advance composite and autoclaves, mini unmanned aerial vehicles, design and analysis of aircraft structure and systems.
BEML has also teamed with NAL for joint development of 2-seater trainer aircraft through technology of transfer (ToT).
The MoU was signed by A K Srivastav, Director Defence and Aerospace and R Venkatesh, Director Business Development, NAL in the presence of Shri MV Rajasekhar, CMD, BEML at the Aero Show at Bangalore.
“This partnership will help BEML to increase its footprint in the Aerospace sector,” the company said.
