How is Bharatmala driving the development of Indian highways sector?

The Bharatmala project will cover a whopping 34,800 km of the road. It will improve the quality of roads to bring in a wave of economic and social development in every corner of the country. Since it will also include the construction of border roads of strategic importance along international boundaries and International Connectivity roads of Myanmar, Bangladesh, Bhutan, and Nepal, this will promote trade and will help in economic development of our country.

We provide an array of turnkey highway solutions from manufacturing and supply of material to its installation. The solutions are installation of RS Walls which includes StrataWall EC and StrataBlockTM walls for bridge approach, embankment slope protection/erosion control, pavements stabilisation and optimisation, ground improvement and drainage.

What opportunities do you visualise from Bharatmala projects in future?

The programme envisages development of Ring Roads/bypasses and elevated corridors to decongest the traffic passing through cities and enhances logistics efficiency. It will facilitate construction of reinforced soil walls for bridge approach and pavements. For construction of these structures, geosynthetic will be used for reinforcement and drainage applications. Areas where these structures are being built on soft grounds which need ground improvement, Strata provides with high strength geogrid and geotextile reinforcement solutions. Strata can help in optimising the cost of pavement construction using its range of biaxial products to save natural materials and provide sustainable solution.
